You Hold Me Now - Hillsong United
I love this song. It’s a song about being hopeful about the future and setting our eyes on the ‘eternal things’ instead of the ‘earthly things’ because Scriptures says
And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. - 1John 2:17
It’s hard to see things in our very own eyes especially when life throws a curve ball at us. But when we trust God and abide and Him, and allow Him to swing the bat, we can put our rest and hope in Him. I like what Apostle Paul says:
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. - Romans 8:18
Like that’s it! Nothing in this world is worth wasting our time. We are just passing through. We are only here to HEAR the Gospel and SHARE the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our lives aren’t about us, it’s about Him. So when we face situations that are just impossible to handle, remember, the God of the universe holds and sustain everything together.. including YOU. Eternity awaits my friends. Focus on Christ.
